        Working with the total team requires some individual goal setting to be accomplished prior to moving forward.  The critical starting point for getting any team “on the same page” is team goals.  Successful teams always have a vision and a direction they are focused toward.  

                In our Peak Performance sessions, we talk about the things we can and can’t control as a team, how we manage adversity and level of arousal, and focus on staying in the moment.  

Team-building sessions we usually begin with understanding Goal setting The "why" "what"and "ho" This is an important foundation to confidence and mental toughness. We incorporate Individual and Team Goal setting and explore "team mentoring". 

In our active team building sessions can be tailored for classroom or field / court.  During this session, we use props, stories, formulas and visual cues to teach each team member how to maintain a positive attitude and good mental focus and team balance.  We will dig into the team personalities and discuss the stages a team goes through. Through interactive games and problem solving we discuss trust , communication, player's role and accountability.
     An important part is the team culture.  We work closely with the coach ( parents) to educate them on what it takes to develop team culture.  We suggest activities, events, practice-related sessions that help to insure a good team bond and increase longevity of the program.  Our goal is to empower the team to reach a basic level of self-evaluation.

Sports - Individual
    


In the individual sessions, we will work one-on-one with the athlete either in person or telephonically to develop a routine of preparation for practice and competition. The athlete will be taught techniques to manage his/her focus, emotions, arousal and confidence during competition.  
We will accomplish this through a program of establishing certain principals, goal setting, understanding the things they can and can’t control about their sport (and life). Self-belief techniques and self-talk are incorporated into the sessions. The added benefit is not only how this applies to their sport, but more importantly, how it applies to all parts of their lives.
 

If the athletes grasp these concepts, they have a great platform to build off of for their confidence and future success in whatever they decide to do. Our goal is for each of our "students " to reach a basic level of self- assessment. They are empowered and in control of the choices they make on and off the field.
