Business and Education
Many components of mental conditioning that apply to sports relate to business and education. Having a degree in education as well as running my own company for 28 years; I realize it matters little whether it’s a classroom or business environment, we can all face adversity, deadlines, organizational issues, negativity, and problems we can and can’t control. Using the ”Success Formula” originated by my mentor Dr. Rob Gilbert, our “students” break through and get to the next level, whether the 5th grade classroom or the corporate boardroom.
Business emphasis:
· The “Success Formula”
· Goal setting
· Mentoring
· Communication skills
· Organizational skills
· Getting to the next level
· Responding to adversity
· Team building - Knowing your role and accepting your role
Comfort zone- " If you don't stretch your limits...you set your limits"
Education Emphasis:
· Character-education and Leadership sessions
· The “Success Formula”
· Proud of myself
· Organization / procrastination
· Attitude
· Bullying
· Coping with stress
· Listening and communication Note: Sessions done in individual classrooms have a greater impact and better "sticking factor" with the students
Decision making- "Life is a bowl of choices"
